You can find the sole length at the back of your ski shoe. Alternatively, you can easily measure the length of the sole using a ruler or other measure.
Skiene leveres med de monterede men endnu ikke indstillede bindinger, og er ikke klar til vintersport endnu. Før første brug af skiene, skal bindingerne først indstilles af en professionel eller af en specialiseret sportsbutiksassistent. Skiene skal indstilles efter alder, køn, vægt, skistøvlestørrelse og skiløberens erfaringsniveau. Skiløberen udsætter sig selv for stor risiko for at komme til skade, hvis ikke skiene er indstillede og kontrolleret med en maskine til skiservice.
