For me, the Cochise 95 W is one of the best women's freeride ski boots available. In this women's model, Tecnica has added all the latest features, among them one particular highlight: the use of merino wool in the inner shoe. This means sensitive feet stay nice and warm, and you enjoy a perfect skin temperature within the boot. The shoe is particularly suited to ambitious freeride skiers who do not want to compromise when it comes to comfort.Julian Lill - Keller Sports Pro
The C.A.S. inner shoe is made from Microcell material that is ergonomically shaped. It can be easily adjusted, but it retains its shape even after several skiing trips. The C.A.S. shell is also anatomically shaped and fits perfectly around the inner shoe. The grooves in the shell allow you to adjust it beautifully. After all, C.A.S. technology provides the highest level of adjustability available.
Thanks to the Power Light Design frame, the ski boot is particularly light in weight. The construction is 2.5 stiffer and yet 30% thinner than conventional constructions. This means the shoe is lighter but does not compromise on performance.
The Mobility Cuff is based on a solid metal-on-metal connection. When the ski boot is in hike mode, it offers a 42° range of freedom of movement - perfect for climbs. During a descent, however, the Self Adjusting system eliminates all wiggle room.
To ensure your feet stay warm and dry, the ski boot has been equipped with a waterproof protector around the slip-in area. This prevents water from getting inside the boot.
The Cochise 95 has been perfectly designed to suit the female anatomy. A high level of comfort is provided by details like the merino toe box that keeps your toes nice and warm on icy days. The climbing mode means this freeride ski boot can take on any backcountry hike. The 4-buckle construction also ensures the boot can withstand even the toughest challenges.
